Parent Communication Social Studies Instructional Materials Adoption
Pasco County Schools is conducting an instructional materials adoption for K-12 social studies in the 2023-2024 school year for implementation in the 2024-2025 school year. Meetings of committees/teams convened for the purpose of reviewing, narrowing, or selecting instructional materials for recommendation to the district school board must be noticed and open to the public.
We would like to invite you to be part of the Narrowing Team which serves to review and narrow the materials submitted by publishers during the vendor call of the adoption process. To submit your interest for an opportunity to serve on the narrowing team, please complete this form. There is an 8-10 evening commitment for this work. Meeting dates, times, and locations are listed on the districts Instructional Material website. The deadline to submit your interest is September 22nd, 2023. Parent/guardian representatives will be selected through a randomized lottery process and will be notified via email by October 2nd.
